In America some Universities offer majors in areas like Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Are there any courses like this in the UK, and if so, does anyone know of any Universities that offer them?

Is there a fee to adopt a dog from the RSPCA? Their website is... unhelpful in the extreme, and I don't just want to run blindly with scissors the vague memory of having to pay $55 to have each of our pound-cats chipped and spayed here in the States... {gives characters extremely dirty look for getting me into these things}
